    Position: Cleaning Crew Member


    General Job Description:

    We are seeking a diligent Cleaning Crew Member to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities in Versailles, MO. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor maintenance, wall washing, and trash removal. Additionally, you will play a role in restocking supplies, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of our premises.


    Work Hours:

    The position entails full-time hours, with a weekly commitment of 15-20 hours per week.


    Detailed and General Work Activities:


    1. Clean and Dust Facilities:

    Thoroughly clean and dust all areas, including bathrooms, break rooms, high-reaching spots like ceiling fans, overhead lamps, and vents.

    Ensure corners, walls, furniture, and equipment are free from dust, cobwebs, and other debris.


    2. Floor Maintenance:

    Utilize various techniques such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and wax application to maintain clean and polished floors.

    Move furniture as needed to access all areas and operate floor machines effectively.

    Conduct spot cleaning and stain removal as required, paying special attention to high-traffic areas.


    3. Equipment Maintenance:

    Perform regular cleaning, battery replacement, and basic repairs on cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet shampooers.

    Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or malfunctions and report them to the supervisor promptly.


    4. Restocking and Replacement:

    Monitor inventory levels of paper products, soap, and other cleaning supplies and replenish them as needed.

    Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste according to company guidelines.

    Maintain outdoor areas by replacing sand in ashtrays, sweeping sidewalks, and removing litter.


    5. Handling Cleaning Solutions:

    Safely measure and dilute cleaning agents for use in various cleaning applications, following product instructions and safety protocols.

    Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning solutions to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.


    6. Storage Area Management:

    Keep storage areas well-organized, stocked, and tidy to facilitate efficient operations.

    Label and store cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas, ensuring easy accessibility for all team members.


    7. Driving and General Physical Activities:

    Drive vehicles to and from work sites as required.

    Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning equipment, demonstrating proper lifting and safety techniques at all times.


    8. Handling and Moving Objects:

    Use hands and arms to handle, install, position, and move materials as needed, exercising caution to prevent injuries or damage to property.


    9. Equipment Inspection:

    Conduct regular inspections of equipment, structures, and materials to identify any issues or defects, reporting findings to the supervisor for prompt resolution.


    10. Communication:

    Observe, receive, and relay information to coworkers, supervisors, and relevant parties to ensure effective teamwork and task completion.

    Communicate any concerns or suggestions for improvement regarding cleaning procedures, equipment, or supplies to the appropriate personnel.
